#newmusicmonday: Jeron Braxton x “sjápe”

Local creative director, artist and musician, Jeron Braxton, released a new project that you need to hear.

“Sjápe,” peers into the mind of a complex artist. Equiped with intergalactic bass-heavy production, and introspective lyrics, this release is a great example of the diversity of Indy hip-hop. Not to mention, his art is refreshingly innovative.

Key tracks: “Inside,” “It’s Nothing,” feat. Nagasaki Dirt and “Western Ideologies.”

I watched Jeron perform at CHREECE last Saturday, and was blown away by his artistry.

Check out his album here. Also, check Jeron’s art and website out here

#saturdayjam: ‘Maisha’ x Clint Breeze

This weekend’s #saturdayjam features local producer, Clint Breeze.

His most recent release, ‘Maisha’ is a definite come-up.

“Maisha,” newest release from Indy producer Clint Breeze.

‘Maisha’ features other dope artists like Pope Adrian, Diop, F L A C O and many others.

Each track includes timely (and super dope) samples, and great production. The thing about Clint Breeze is, he’s forever evolving. He typically uses great samples on his tracks, but the ones featured here are next level.

Key tracks include: “Feels,” “Maisha,” “Together” and “Boss.” But really, each track is a banger.

‘Maisha’ serves as a great weekend chill album.
